Medical codes of ethics and licensure laws require helthcare providers to honor medical autonomy - choice- in determining medical decisions. Forcing medical treatment without consent is against the Nurenberg Code, which states individual must be free to consent or refuse treatment and can not be coerced or forced to have involuntary medical treatment.
